Great little hotel with fantastic, friendly staff & excellent prices. Only 10 mins drive from city centre & literally right next door to Birmingham City's St Andrew's stadium. Bar & lounge relaxed & very well priced, breakfast was absolutely delicious & served by a lovely little old Irish lady. Check in & out were a breeze. Car park is discreet and accessible...but the only downside is theres no dropped kerb to access it...so if you have a car thats pretty low to the ground you'll risk damaging the underside of it.
Excellent short stay at the George. The rooms are basic but are clean, have tea/coffee and beds are super comfortable. The staff made the visit even better. They were friendly and very good to us, and the cook did a lovely breakfast set up. Food was lovely, well cooked and very well served. Prices for food and drinks were excellent. The night time/pub staff were also great. Would definitely recommend.
At first, I was quite worried because of some negative reviews I had read, and I went to the hotel expecting a disappointing experience. However, I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was well organized and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The ladies at the reception were extremely friendly and welcoming. Their kindness and professionalism made me feel comfortable right away. The hotel itself was quiet and comfortable, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. Overall, my experience was much better than I expected, and I would definitely consider staying here again.
Staff were really good. The room was alot better than expected from the price.big bed. Clean..nice bathroom.. right next to the football ground. Nice busy bar on football home matches. Managed to get parked in there car park.

For those that are happy to get their head down in a very clean but dated hotel then this is for you. 6 mins from xoyo club, onsite parking. The hotel is connected to a pub that serve pints of carling at £3.20 and single wine for £3.10. Female ran hotel and bar and u can not fault the hospitality. Kim was there to meet and greet us and the lovely ladies in the evening were amazing. We had a full English breakfast for £7 and it soaked up all the alcohol from the nights antics. Theres no denying that this place isn't the Ritz but at £26 each for a clean bed and bathroom how could you moan. We will be using this hotel again in the future, thank you for having us. The hotel needs updating Rooms adequate Shower sporadic But the staff very friendly and helpful Breakfast great We hadn't booked Breakfast but they were very accommodating And we had a fantastic time
Actually it wasn't that bad, the rooms weren't cleaned perfectly and it would need a redecoration but the bed was clean the windows and curtains too . Parking is great there was plenty of space WiFi work normally lots of spare towels .. very friendly staff .. I travel a lot I never gave a review . for a room per night I paid 45£ is not to bad it would need a few minor adjustments and it would be a decent hotel too .. is quit place only what's is a but enough is . My room was right by the elevator
